Myanmar

Myanmar (formerly known as Burma) is the largest country by geographical area in Southeast Asia. Most people are Buddhists and all boys and young men spend time in the monastery. Probably the most iconic sight in Myanmar is the large number of barefoot monks one encounters everywhere. Myanmar's skyline is dominated by the temple temple that dot the landscape, particularly on the plains around Bagan and the Ayeyarwady River serves as a lifeline for the country.
